Who we are

What we collect, and why

The free selling guide. If you request it, we collect your first name and email address. They go to our email platform (Mailchimp), which sends you the guide and occasional emails from us about selling and property in the Oswestry area. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them immediately. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in following it up.

The Renters’ Rights checker. Your answers are processed entirely on your own device and are never sent to us or stored anywhere. We only hear from you if you choose to email or call us afterwards.

Enquiries. If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you and for up to 2 years afterwards, then delete it. Legal basis: responding to your enquiry and our legitimate interest in keeping a record of it.

Compliance service clients.If you engage our tenancy-compliance service, we hold your business contact and billing details as controller (legal basis: the contract), and we process your tenants’ data — names, addresses, tenancy dates, served-status — only on your instructions, as your processor, under the written data-processing terms in our client agreement. We return or delete that data when the service ends.

Who else touches the data

Our website and systems are hosted by Vercel; guide emails run on Mailchimp; our email runs on our business email provider. They process data for us under their own contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and withdraw consent at any time — email morgan.nunns@thepropertyexperts.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
